Eric Crowell was born and raised in Pacifica, CA. His boundless imagination and terrific sense of humor shine through in mixed media sculptures, drawings, paintings and prints. He is inspired by science fiction, fantasy, and astronomy. Eric primarily works with wood, plaster, found objects, and also incorporates stories and text in many of his pieces. Regarding his practice, Eric feels “it’s inspiring to make new and different things, it makes me excited and I have a good time. I can make whatever I want and I can decide to do what I want”. Eric has exhibited work at Sanchez Art Center, Incline Gallery, San Mateo County Fair and Art Saves Lives Gallery.
