Henry Choy was born in New York City, NY and resides in San Francisco's Chinatown District. He was a prolific artist, producing hundreds of drawings during his tenure at The Arc SF. Henry’s favorite subject matter was Star Trek, and he was passionate about space exploration and conspiracy theories. These were his favorite subjects to portray, but Henry also showed incredible talent in his unique life drawings. He simplified shapes with a sure hand and chose color according to his own distinct taste. The result is a view in to Henry’s own eccentric and charismatic world. It is clear that he was inspired by realities outside of our own and his colorful illustrations are a rare portal in to Henry’s inner world.
