Nancy Chisholm

Nancy Chisholm was born in San Francisco, and raised in Chinatown, where her parents owned a fish delivery business. Nancy remembers these years fondly, which she reflects on in carefully rendered acrylic and watercolor paintings. She is deeply linked to Chinese culture, and incorporates traditional Chinese motifs, symbols, and mythology into most of her work. Other recurring themes are travel and animals, always executed with a close attention to detail. Nancy has exhibited work at San Mateo County Fair, Incline Gallery and Art Saves Lives Gallery.
