Tyrone Johnson lives and practices art in Daly City, CA. He is a multi-talented musician and visual artist, often incorporating musical themes into his artwork. Tyrone's ink, acrylic, and watercolor paintings take on a cartoon-like quality; Looney Tunes being another source of artistic inspiration for him. Tyrone’s artwork is about lifestyle and dreams. He says he “like[s] feeling talented and that I can do anything... Selling artwork makes me feel proud and I know that I am a successful artist”. Tyrone has been commissioned to paint portraits of former San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom and San Francisco Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White, among others. He has exhibited work at De Young Museum, Sanchez Art Center and San Mateo County Fair.
